While most companies provide an eloquently worded Mission Statement, I prefer to provide my Core Values that establish the foundation on which I build my client relationships.

FOCUS

The Colliers Self Storage Group is a national platform that is solely focused on self storage investment sales.  I am not a dabbler. I have been 110% committed to being a self storage investment sales expert since 2005.

When a client is looking to a real estate advisor for guidance, experience matters.  My 20 years in the self storage industry have exposed me to hundreds of transactions, each having its own opportunities and stumbling blocks.  An experienced advisor is able to identify those potential pitfalls, and recommend common solutions prior to beginning any marketing campaign.  My clear and concise marketing approach has been developed through the years and provides each opportunity with the broadest possible exposure.

INTEGRITY

My clients’ best interests are my priority.  I am not a transactional broker who is simply seeking my next listing.  I am an advisor, whose passion is to work along side clients to best position their asset months before any marketing campaign begins.  Clients know that when I provide a market valuation, it is accurate and honest.  For these reasons, the majority of my assignments are either repeat clients or referrals.

No two self storage transactions are the same.  It is essential to perform exhaustive pre-marketing due diligence to ensure a smooth, effective marketing campaign that will surpass my clients’ objectives.  It is my goal to obtain a clear understanding of the strengths of the property, the demographic nuances of the trade area, the asset positioning compared to the direct competition, as well as determine the potential problems before they become issues during the transaction.  A successful marketing strategy utilizes these factors to underwrite the property as aggressively as justifiable, while presenting the opportunity in the best light possible.

No matter the size or dollar value of an assignment, I provide the same institutional quality marketing process backed by the leading global real estate platform of Colliers International.  One of the hallmarks of my approach to marketing is my presentation of the asset’s features through the use of a detailed, professionally-prepared Offering Memorandum unique to the subject property.  The most important, yet often overlooked, aspect of a transaction is my micro-management of the entire process.  It is my goal to provide exemplary service and keep the client informed throughout the transaction.
